Eligibility |

The contest is open to everyone over 18 years of age, residing in India
(Including Indian and Foreign Nationals)
The contest is open to technology enthusiasts, engineers, business
executives or anyone else alike as long as they claim to possess some useful
technology-related concept. However, it is NOT necessary for you to know
coding, marketing or finances all at same time (although preferable). |

Mode of applying |

Participants are required to submit their applications through our website

Number of entries |
| |
|
| |
There is no restriction to the number of entries that a participant can
send. Multiple entries by the same participant for different ideas are
welcome.
Each application entry will be judged on its individual merit. Therefore,
each entry equally qualifies to win the contest, regardless of whether the
participant has enrolled more than one idea.
The participants are required to fill in all information asked for in the
online form. Incomplete entries are not valid. |

The entry to dreamZhunt contest is free, and not charged. |

The contest is open until mid-night 31st March, 2007 IST. All entries to
dreamzhunt must reach us on or before 31st March, 2007.
We will not entertain entries received thereafter for the contest.
However if you are still interested in letting us know about your idea, you
may do so separately, but it will not come under the purview of dreamZhunt-
the contest. You can email us at incubation@sgstechnologie.com incase you
dont want to go through dreamZhunt or submit after the deadline. Also, dont
forget to precisely describe why you chose not to go through dreamZhunt
mode. |

Presentation of ideas |

| |
Ideas must be submitted in English.
The subsequent presentation of the ideas at the one day event will be in
English. |

Misrepresentation of information |
| |
|
| |
We expect that all information submitted to dreamZhunt application is true
and fair. If any participant is found guilty of misrepresenting information,
then the participant shall be expelled from the competition |

Originality of the ideas |
| |
|
| |
We are looking for people who have original ideas. It may be an inspiration
from existing technologies, but we request you to kindly avoid plagiarism
and be original with your concepts.
If at any stage of the contest, we come across plagiarism and if an idea is
found to be copied , it will be be rejected. |

Ownership of ideas |
| |
|
| |
Once submitted, all ideas will become the property of dreamZhunt.
dreamZhunt will have the rights to disclose/ not disclose the ideas in
public.
However, contestants can keep their idea confidential by checking the
"Please treat my application as CONFIDENTIAL" box at the time of applying.
By doing so, dreamZhunt will NOT display your idea at any point of the time
during the contest.
Until an idea is eliminated from the contest, it remains to be the property
of dreamZhunt. In case of elimination, the ownership will automatically
revert back to the participant.
If the idea emerges as the winner, and in case the participant does not want
to take up the offer, he/she may forego the offer and the ownership rights
will be given back. |

Decison making process |
| |

| |
The entries will go through a preliminary screening and the shortlisted ones
will either be put on our portal for voting or internally evaluated by our
panel and team. The shortlisting of the entries is under the sole discretion
of SGS- TIC.
If the shortlisted ideas come under "public" submissions, then it would be
rated by both public and our panel of judges with appropriate weightage.
If the shortlisted idea is a confidential submission, then it would be rated
by our panel and internal team alone . |

Voting for public submissions |
| |
|
| |
Voters can rate only once for each idea. Participants are encouraged to
invite their acquantainces to vote online, but any participant who attempts
to manipulate voting results in any way will be removed from the contest.
The top 10 shortlisted ideas
The 10 shortlisted ideas will be invited for the Grand Finale of dreamZhunt
2007.
Non-winners will not be intimated. We however request you to keep checking
the website regularly for latest news, and keep up with the proceedings of
the contest. |

Grand Finale of dreamZhunt 2007 |
| |
|
| |
Grand Finale of dreamZhunt 2007 is a one-day event , which will be held in
Chennai. The shortlisted participants are expected to present their ideas
before the panel of judges. The participants have to be here in person,as an
individual or as a team. In case of a team, all the members are expected to
be present at the event, and representatives are not allowed. |

The panel of judges decision onthe contest winners. will be deemed as final
and abiding. SGS-TIC is taking all efforts to keep the contest unbiased and
fair.
The Top Ideas and Stakes
The top 3 winning ideas get
Seed funds ranging between $20k to $ 100K
Stake options starting from 15% and up\to 90%.
The percentage of stakes depends upon the following factors
a. The value of the idea
b. The level of assisstance required by the technopreneur
However these are not the exclusive criteria.
